Tourist for a Day… by Gloria

I think it’s easy to sometimes take the everyday things in life for granted. This weekend, we decided to play tourists in our own city and do a couple of things we’ve never done before. I’ve lived in NY my entire life and I have to say that there are a few things that I’ve always wanted to do or see but never got around to. This weekend, we managed to check off 2 of those things by riding the Roosevelt Island Tram (something I’ve driven past hundreds of times but somehow, never got around to riding) and visiting the Intrepid Air and Space Museum which I highly recommend- and it’s great for kids too! Here are a few of our pics…
